The Research Committee 28 on Social Stratification and Mobility (RC28) of the International Sociological Association (ISA) invites all scholars working on the topics of social stratification and social mobility to join us at the 2023 RC28 Summer Conference. The conference will take place on August 14-17, 2023, and is hosted by the Stone Center for Inequality Dynamics (CID) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

The Stone Center for Inequality Dynamics is excited to host the RC28 2023 Summer Meeting at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, from August 14-17, 2023. The Summer Meeting will be held at the Michigan Union.

Travel Awards

The RC28 Summer Meeting is no longer accepting applications for the RC28 Travel Awards. Applicants will be informed of decisions by June 2, 2023. 

 

Registration

Online registration for the conference is now closed. You may register in person on Tuesday, August 15, from 8:00-11:00 a.m.

Note that all conference participants who are not currently RC28 members will need to join by paying the RC28 membership fee. Membership fees can be paid electronically via the ISA website or in cash to the RC28 Treasurer at the Registration Desk at the conference.
