Undergraduate Students:

Undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience on the topic of social inequality can apply to work with us. We also offer research opportunities for credit through undergraduate research programs, such as UROP  and SURO .

Data Visualization Consultant

We are recruiting for an hourly student position of Data Visualization Consultant for the summer and fall. The student will work with CID student affiliates to help create data visualizations for a variety of different projects. The student will help conceptualize and create these visualizations on a variety of platforms, both interactive and static. To apply, you must have strong skills in R and Stata and candidates with experience in front-end development (i.e., experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and Python are preferred. In the past, students who have had this role have worked on creating visualizations using Highcharts.js and D3.js. While graduate and Master’s students are most likely to have these skills, we will also consider advanced undergraduate students if they can show outstanding skills in these areas.
